The founder of Living Word Church, Madurai, Rev. Harris, under the calling of God, resigned his government job and started a church in a rented place in Madurai, with just 3 people.
The church started growing rapidly, and so within a few years they had to move to a bigger campus, which could seat nearly 500 people.
Having been under other denominations for several years, the founder and senior pastor of Living Word Church, Madurai saw that there was no room to grow in that framework.
The vision of God to expand and multiply resulted in coming out and founding Living Word Church at Madakulam, in 1994.
